Our nursery is a warm and caring preschool on Kenton Lane, next to Belmont Community Hall. We provide a nurturing environment where children are encouraged to become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners.
Our approach combines the Montessori method of education with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), giving children the freedom to explore and learn at their own pace while supporting their development across all areas of the EYFS.

We are registered for a maximum of 27 children, helping us maintain a friendly and welcoming environment where our team can get to know each child and their individual needs.
We believe the preschool years should be filled with curiosity, discovery and enjoyment.
Through carefully planned activities, Montessori resources, creative play and everyday experiences, we encourage children to develop the confidence and skills they need for the next stage of their journey.
Montessori & EYFS
Our children benefit from both the Montessori approach and the EYFS curriculum. Montessori encourages children to make choices, develop independence, concentrate and learn through practical, hands-on experiences.
Alongside this, the EYFS ensures that we support every aspect of a child’s early development – from communication and language to physical, social, emotional, literacy, mathematical and creative development.
Our aim is simple: to help every child develop a love of learning.
Outdoor Learning All Year Round!
We believe children should have plenty of opportunities to learn and play outdoors.
Our outdoor space is used throughout the year, allowing children to explore nature, develop their physical skills, play with friends and experience the changing seasons.
Outdoor activities form an important part of everyday life at Belmont!
Funded Places Available
We offer 15 and 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible families, subject to current government eligibility requirements.
We also welcome children attending through privately funded sessions and offer additional fee-paying hours where available.
Healthy Snacks
Healthy eating is an important part of nursery life. We provide children with fresh fruit and vegetables at snack time, together with milk.
Children who stay with us over lunchtime bring a healthy packed lunch from home.
